Split Air Conditioning and Heating Systems

We understand the need for customized solutions for various industries and a variety of vehicles. Through Webasto we are able to provide a complete line of split system components that allow for customization in a large range of vehicles. These climate control system components allow for a variety of vehicle integration in areas such as against vehicle ceilings, bulkhead areas, vertical wall and floor mount arrangements.

 Integrated Heat Exchanger Solutions

A popular solution upgrade in our cold Canadian winter climate is our Webasto integrated heat exchangers which offer a low-cost solution to provide supplemental heat for either the driver, passengers, or cargo space. The integrated heat exchanger is an engine-on solution by utilizing the vehicles existing coolant system. To achieve engine-off heating, a heat exchanger can be paired with Webasto fuel operated heaters.

Interior Heat Solutions

A cold vehicle can be slow to start and agonizing to sit in as the engine slowly warms. Cold engines may not only delay the start of a crew's workday but can also negatively impact a vehicle's operation and emissions with adverse effects on its diesel particulate filter (DPF) performance.

At ColdFront we offer advanced fuel-operated heating (FOH) products from Webasto that offer fleets and workers an intelligent, comfortable solution that reduces vehicle wear and DPF maintenance costs. Our Webasto heaters deliver heat to interior cargo areas, workspaces, and passenger compartments.

For box trucks and vans with segregated cargo or workspaces, we can install Webasto stand-alone kits that keep cargo and workers comfortable. Webasto air heaters use the vehicle's existing fuel source but operate independently from its gas or diesel engine, which means the cargo space can be heated without the need to constantly or intermittently idle the engine.
